June

June 1st.
Learn what you're doing.

Encourage other people's ideas.

Continue to ask questions and seek answers.

June 2nd
Don't offer help that you can't follow through on.

Constantly keep others in your thoughts and prayers.

A single voice might sing out of key, but when combined with others voices, melody ensues.

June 3rd
when something is rotten, eventually it will crumble.

Take opportunities to keep learning.

Communicate your plans with others.

June 4th
Appreciate opportunities that are presented to you.

Cultivate your interests.

In order to live a remarkable life, you can't live like everyone else.

Continue to refine your plan.

June 5th
Explore the world around you.

Spend the time to be well rounded.

Be humble, it's not all about you.

June 6th
Think of others who can take advantage of an opportunity.

Problems begin when people don't care.

Articulate your goals.

June 7th
It's a great day to start a new family tradition.

Real work makes dreams and goals come true.

A lot of people are doing a lot of good work in this world, what's your role?

June 8th
You're probably doing a better job than you think you are.

Divide a large job into smaller, more managable parts.

Spending time thinking about and planning retribution doesn't make your life or the world a better place.

Although we often hear contrary news reports, there's more peace, prosperity and intelligence than ever before on Earth.

June 9th
Rather than swimming upstream, sometimes it's easier to get out and walk instead.

Questions even when answered, beget more questions.

A life without pain and suffering cannot be lived, so how will you deal with it and more importantly, how can you be present in helping others deal with theirs.

In making a split second decision, much can be revealed about your character.

June 10th
Society and the people within it are constantly growing and evolving.

Be open to new opportunities, while also doing your best to bring them about.

Seek to support the points being made by others.

It's easy to make a joke about someone else, harder to hear one about yourself.

June 11th
It's easy to be amazed at the power of a summer storm.

These words, rarely if ever have been said, "You listen too much."

Active listening involves more than just your ears.

Creating a plan, is the hard part, once it's done however, executing it is primarily a matter of discipline.

June 12th
Know your options.

Holding a grudge is unproductive.

When a goal is reached, celebrate it.

June 13th
When we identify the things we really want out of life, the list gets pretty short.

Technically, they don't last any longer, but there are some days you simply don't want to let end.

What an amazing blessing, both mother and child.

Enjoy the city where you live.

June 14th
In order to live out a celebration, you need to have things to celebrate.

Make your dreams come true.

Be willing to adjust your plans in order to reach your ultimate goal.

Go out of your way to share good news.

June 15th
Freedom allows you to create the solution.

Change can happen both quickly and slowly, no need to delay, continue moving forward in the meantime.

Embrace the next phase of life.

Keep unexpected obstacles in perspective.

June 16th
Don't waste time emulating somone else, they are wishing their life was different too. Know your dreams and follow them.

Each day is filled with challenges and opportunities. Find ways to minimize one and maximize the other.

Seek opportunities and strive to achieve them, enjoying the journey to get there.

Strike a balance.

June 17th
What pursuit(s) are big enough to allow you to succeed beyond the expectations you have for your life?

If you believe in proactive communication, practice it.

Find a balance.

Turns out not where but who you're with that really matters.
-Dave Matthews

June 18th
In hindsight, some ideas weren't that good to begin with, but that's one of the benefits of gaining perspective.

Pay yourself for the chores you do. You have to do them anyway, might as well have an incentive for a job well done.

Create a daily routine.

If you're not part of the future, get out of the way.
-John Mellencamp

June 19th
Staying on track is easier than trying to play "catch up".

Maintain routines, even when away from home.

Be aware of your limits.

To change the world, start with one step... however small, the first step is hardest of all.
-Dave Matthews

June 20th
If you are going to make someone's day. Go all out throughout the day.

Enjoy time away.

Keep moving forward with your goals in mind.

Suck it up and tough it out and be the best you can.
-John Mellencamp

June 21st
Leave a small footprint.

Set boundaries to ensure healthy relationships.

Relish the present moment.

Don't lose the dreams inside your head, they'll only be there 'til you're dead.
-Dave Matthews

June 22nd
Be open to ideas that challenge you to grow.

Never be too old to be silly and have fun.

Don't be afraid to communicate.

Smile in the mirror as you walk by.
-John Mellencamp

June 23rd
There's a limit to the number of topics/issues/relationships we can actively manage. Successful people aren't necessarily able to handle a larger number, often times they are simply better at prioritizing and making choices. In other words, better at emotional and intellectual eoonomics - managing scare resources.

Sharing ideas of others only works in limited situations.

Be patient as plans unfold.

Increase your awareness.

June 24th
People enjoy sharing their life with others, especially when given the forum. Take opportunities to learn.

Build on other people's success, not their failures.

Listen to and enact challenging advice from others.

Don't merely accept simple solutions when the problems are complicated.

June 25th
Your pathway takes you where you're going.

It's not the length of your life, it's the impact that you make.

You can't slow it down and you can't speed it up, you also can't replace it, maximize your time.

Be aware of your blessings.

June 26th
You might as well have fun, because when you look back it's the good times that always seem to put a smile on your face when you're telling the story.

Contemplation and reflection should generate action.

Seek to expand the available options.

June 27th
Especially when we're young, people like to do things we're not supposed to. Take for example activies we're suggested to avoid in Galatians 5:14-15: "immorality, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of fury, acts of selfishness, dissensions, factions, occasions of envy, drinking bouts, orgies, and the like." On the otherhand, here are more productive attributes to be emulated... "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness,
gentleness, self-control." Living right gets my vote.

Accomplishments cannot happen quickly enough and yet we move on right away to new goals.

Give life your very best.

Connect your good works to your religious practices.

June 28th
Don't just dream it, do it.

Appreciate the joy of those around you.

Allow your life to make a difference.

June 29th
When things are sounding bleak, don't just have an upbeat attitude, but actually put your optimism into action.

Change not just the personal traits you've identified, but the ones that have been identified by those close to you.

What you accomplish, is only as good as how you go about it and who you share it with.

Be aggressive, but be aware of your motivation for doing so.

June 30th
Enjoy listening to a classic song played live by the original artist.

When the time comes, be ready to act.

Be truthful, yet fair with others.

Enjoy your turn at life.
