Communicate your plans with others.

June 4th
Appreciate opportunities that are presented to you.

Cultivate your interests.

In order to live a remarkable life, you can't live like everyone else.

Continue to refine your plan.

June 5th
Explore the world around you.

Spend the time to be well rounded.

Be humble, it's not all about you.

June 6th
Think of others who can take advantage of an opportunity.

Problems begin when people don't care.

It's a great day to start a new family tradition.

Real work makes dreams and goals come true.

A lot of people are doing a lot of good work in this world, what's your role?

June 8th
You're probably doing a better job than you think you are.

Divide a large job into smaller, more managable parts.

Spending time thinking about and planning retribution doesn't make your life or the world a better place.

Although we often hear contrary news reports, there's more peace, prosperity and intelligence than ever before on Earth.

June 9th
Rather than swimming upstream, sometimes it's easier to get out and walk instead.

Questions even when answered, beget more questions.

A life without pain and suffering cannot be lived, so how will you deal with it and more importantly, how can you be present in helping others deal with theirs.

In making a split second decision, much can be revealed about your character.

June 10th
Society and the people within it are constantly growing and evolving.

Be open to new opportunities, while also doing your best to bring them about.

Seek to support the points being made by others.

It's easy to make a joke about someone else, harder to hear one about yourself.

June 11th
It's easy to be amazed at the power of a summer storm.

These words, rarely if ever have been said, "You listen too much."

Active listening involves more than just your ears.

Creating a plan, is the hard part, once it's done however, executing it is primarily a matter of discipline.

June 12th
Know your options.

Holding a grudge is unproductive.

When a goal is reached, celebrate it.

June 13th
When we identify the things we really want out of life, the list gets pretty short.

Technically, they don't last any longer, but there are some days you simply don't want to let end.

What an amazing blessing, both mother and child.

Enjoy the city where you live.

June 14th
In order to live out a celebration, you need to have things to celebrate.

Make your dreams come true.

Be willing to adjust your plans in order to reach your ultimate goal.

Go out of your way to share good news.

June 15th
Freedom allows you to create the solution.

Change can happen both quickly and slowly, no need to delay, continue moving forward in the meantime.

Embrace the next phase of life.

Keep unexpected obstacles in perspective.

June 16th
Don't waste time emulating somone else, they are wishing their life was different too. Know your dreams and follow them.

Each day is filled with challenges and opportunities. Find ways to minimize one and maximize the other.

Seek opportunities and strive to achieve them, enjoying the journey to get there.

Strike a balance.

June 17th
What pursuit(s) are big enough to allow you to succeed beyond the expectations you have for your life?

If you believe in proactive communication, practice it.

Find a balance.

Turns out not where but who you're with that really matters.
-Dave Matthews

June 18th
In hindsight, some ideas weren't that good to begin with, but that's one of the benefits of gaining perspective.

Pay yourself for the chores you do. You have to do them anyway, might as well have an incentive for a job well done.

Create a daily routine.

If you're not part of the future, get out of the way.
-John Mellencamp

June 19th
Staying on track is easier than trying to play "catch up".

Maintain routines, even when away from home.

Be aware of your limits.

To change the world, start with one step... however small, the first step is hardest of all.
-Dave Matthews

June 20th
If you are going to make someone's day. Go all out throughout the day.

Enjoy time away.

Keep moving forward with your goals in mind.

Suck it up and tough it out and be the best you can.
-John Mellencamp

June 21st
Leave a small footprint.

Set boundaries to ensure healthy relationships.

Relish the present moment.

Don't lose the dreams inside your head, they'll only be there 'til you're dead.
-Dave Matthews

June 22nd
Be open to ideas that challenge you to grow.

Never be too old to be silly and have fun.

Don't be afraid to communicate.

Smile in the mirror as you walk by.
-John Mellencamp

June 23rd
There's a limit to the number of topics/issues/relationships we can actively manage. Successful people aren't necessarily able to handle a larger number, often times they are simply better at prioritizing and making choices. In other words, better at emotional and intellectual eoonomics - managing scare resources.

Sharing ideas of others only works in limited situations.

Be patient as plans unfold.

Increase your awareness.

June 24th
People enjoy sharing their life with others, especially when given the forum. Take opportunities to learn.

Build on other people's success, not their failures.

Listen to and enact challenging advice from others.

Don't merely accept simple solutions when the problems are complicated.

June 25th
Your pathway takes you where you're going.

It's not the length of your life, it's the impact that you make.

You can't slow it down and you can't speed it up, you also can't replace it, maximize your time.

Be aware of your blessings.

June 26th
You might as well have fun, because when you look back it's the good times that always seem to put a smile on your face when you're telling the story.

Contemplation and reflection should generate action.

Seek to expand the available options.

June 27th
Especially when we're young, people like to do things we're not supposed to. Take for example activies we're suggested to avoid in Galatians 5:14-15: "immorality, impurity, licentiousness, idolatry, sorcery, hatreds, rivalry, jealousy, outbursts of fury, acts of selfishness, dissensions, factions, occasions of envy, drinking bouts, orgies, and the like." On the otherhand, here are more productive attributes to be emulated... "love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, generosity, faithfulness,
gentleness, self-control." Living right gets my vote.

Accomplishments cannot happen quickly enough and yet we move on right away to new goals.

Give life your very best.

Connect your good works to your religious practices.

June 28th
Don't just dream it, do it.

Appreciate the joy of those around you.

Allow your life to make a difference.

June 29th
When things are sounding bleak, don't just have an upbeat attitude, but actually put your optimism into action.

Change not just the personal traits you've identified, but the ones that have been identified by those close to you.

What you accomplish, is only as good as how you go about it and who you share it with.

Be aggressive, but be aware of your motivation for doing so.

June 30th
Enjoy listening to a classic song played live by the original artist.

When the time comes, be ready to act.

Be truthful, yet fair with others.

Enjoy your turn at life.

March

March 1st
Continue to encourage yourself and those around you.

Try as we might, we're not in control of the divine plan for our lives.

Life's greatest moments, the ones we anticipate the longest and savor the most, usually transpire in 2-3 minutes.

March 2nd
Hard as it might sometimes seem, it all works out.

Authentically live the beliefs you profess.

We're not here to get something, we're here to give something.
- Fr. Howard Gray, S.J.

March 3rd
For an innovation to surface, you've got to review, challenge and evaluate your initial concept.

Practice minimizing self doubt and worry.

When looking in the mirror, it's important to be able to smile.

March 4th
Speak for those without a voice.

Allow dissapointment to help clarify your approach and increase your resolve to bounce back.

Creator God, thank you for the gift of this day.
- Liz Curran

March 5th
Although other options might look easier, every path has its own set of obstacles.

If your life is a puzzle, how many pieces do you get to put together and what will the overall picture look like when it's done?

People like to be appreciated.

March 6th
Constantly make the choice to be positive.

It's hard to keep in mind, while the situation is unfolding, but nature (as well as history) has countless examples of contraction leading to expansion.

There's no contradiction in each of us believing that the other people in our lives are the very best.

March 7th
There's joy to be discovered and shared.

Life's best experiences don't have to be expensive, in fact, everyday things like watching a sunset or saying "I love you" are completely free.

The role of communication as a problem solving skill is easily recognized, but often under used.

March 8th
Develop plans and ensure results.

Seek out and share good news.

It's important to surround yourself with people who challenge and encourage you to grow.

March 9th
Constantly build other people up.

A sign of self respect is living a healthy lifestyle.

Sometimes you have to go "all in."

March 10th
How you anticipate something will happen may or may not be how it turns out.

Realize that there are some topics you're better off not discussing with certain people in your life, once you do, it will save both of you, much frustration.

You grow up wanting to change the world, but it's not until you're older that you realize it will take a lifetime of effort.

March 11th
Greeting your kids as they return home is one of life's gifts.

Unexpected outcomes can come about.

When in doubt, be inclusive of others.

March 12th
It's not about what you accomplish, achievements are fleeting, but rather what you spend your time pursuing.

Everyone evolves (changes), innovation requires a commitment to growth.

We look for inspiration everywhere, but it's most commonly found within.

March 13th
On the shortest day of the year, there's still plenty to enjoy.

Enjoy putting in an old CD and listening to an old favorite.

Following your passion, allows for enthusiasm and renewal despite adversity.

March 14th
Sports like life, teaches us time and again that anything can happen and you have to be ready.

It's hard to admit, but we're not ultimately in control.

The path of least resistance, is certainly easier, but if it's the only road you know, it won't make for a very interesting journey.

Each Spring presents many opportunities for renewal.

March 15th
Often times, new isn't better, but it's still different.

Merely following traditional and religious guidelines in a rote way, does not enrich your life compared to intentionally living them out.

Living a healthy lifestyle, demonstrates your level of self respect.

The best thing you can grow up to be is yourself.

March 16th
We emulate people, especially celebrities, while virtually ignoring their disfunctions.

If you've been contemplating doing something for months or years, life's not standing still, go ahead and do it.

With family and friends, it's not about making the time, it's about having the time.

March 17th
You can't tread water forever, eventually you have to swim towards a side.

You have the ability to light up a room.

Knowing about yourself, is based in part, on knowing your family history.

March 18th
Small gestures of support are often remembered as making a noticeable difference.

Don't blame people's short comings on God.

Your ability to listen, has a connection to your level of personal satisfaction.

We never know how long we have, so it's up to each of us to make the most of it.

March 19th
When you receive a reprieve from a paradigm shift, don't simply continue your old ways of doing business.

Learn how to make practical use of new technology.

Focus on the bounty you already possess, not on the handful of things that you still desire.

March 20th
Once you finalize your plan, redouble your efforts implementing it.

As an individual or a group, you are who you are and change is tough since it normally occurs with your back against a wall.

Happiness stems from self awareness, purpose and discipline.

March 21st
It's not simply a way of eliminating jealousy, but rather a reflection of reality; every path in life, carries with it challenges that are both common and unique.

Be methodical and rationale when making a decision.

It's often in the midst of hard work that you need to appreciate your blessings.

Driving down the highway on a warm, sunny day with your windows down and the radio on is a great gift to give yourself.

March 22nd
Everyone has a dream and most more than one, but when asked to state them aloud, what would you say?

Life is an adventure that can quickly become a series of mandatory responsibilities, so control the outlook of your life.

When you fall behind, work harder to catch back up.

March 23rd
The virtue of self reliance is typically overstated, especially when factoring in that people genuinely like to help.

The challenges being faced by others are greater than the obstacles on your plate.

Having to defend your personal beliefs makes them stronger, as long as they truly are your beliefs.

March 24th
Transitions, which often are full of uncertainty, are typically difficult.

You can tell your own story, better than anyone else.

Left over, cold pizza from last night is a tasty change of pace for breakfast.

March 25th
Sharing your insights does not involve telling someone what to do.

A little bit of polish, can really make something shine.

Fantasy sports are only as fun and beneficial as the real world relationships you have with the other participants.

March 26th
Things will get done, they always do.

There's a sense of renewal, seeing the first signs of spring.

On your daily drive home, try and take the scenic route from time to time.

March 27th
Life is based upon a routine, regardless of how exciting or ordinary.

The best, but sometimes most difficult reason to do something is because it will mean a lot to someone else.

Situations that present the opportunity to be true to yourself often occur when you least expect them and doing so, is often the harder way to go.

March 28th
I hope God appreciates prayers of gratitude, because I know it's enjoyable to say them.

Timeless pieces of wisdom and humor are passed down through generations, with new classics added along the way.

What a great journey, this life.

March 29th
Our dreams our simple, it's the bringing them to life, which is complicated.

If it's something you value, find interesting ways to share with others.

The Story of the Turtle

God Loves You

It's always up to you.

Rather than putting a bumper sticker on the back of your car, if it's such a great
message, why not put it on your dash board so you'll be the one who sees it.

March 30th
If your plan is sound, when opportunities to deviate present themselves, stay the course.

Find the right balance for your life.

A genuine relationship with God involves more than simply asking for things and saying "thank you."

March 31st
Pursue your vision as you make your dreams become reality.

You'll encounter tough patches, allow for doubt, but continue to move on.

Be able to give freely of yourself.

Always believe in the purpose of your journey.

Those closest to you, who you can be short with are the ones who deserve it least of all.

Use someone else's words to convey a message.

The trials of life, are many and varied, some go your way, others don't, the quality of life is in how you respond.

February 9th
There's a lot of intelligence in the people around you.

Be open to technological innovations, but be aware of their benefits and limitations.

Identify personal weaknesses and work to improve them.

February 12th
Take up ideas and initiatives that are not your own.

Try as you might, the future cannot be predicted.

Enjoy watching snow falling in the darkness.

February 13th
How a gift is given, means as much as the gift itself.

You might not share someone else's passion, but support them in reaching their goal.

The moment might not last very long, but when contentment arrives, allow yourself to enjoy it.

February 14th
Clinging to what's comfortable is not how life should be lived, if for no other reason than it's imposes too many limits on what can be achieved.

Never be too grown up, to find new, creative ways to say "I love you."

Difficulty leads to growth, which is a fundamental aspect to life.

February 15th
Patience is a gift, most particularly when someone else doesn't know they are requiring you to use it.

Enjoy a relaxing weekend.

Empower yourself by being able to say no.

February 16th
Pick your battles.

Enjoy your own company.

Be a person who the most idealistic time of your childhood would respect.

February 17th

Profuse with praise, stingy with critique.

Remember, tasks always seem to be easy, when you're not the one that has to do them.

Allow yourself to become, the person you're meant to be.

February 19th
Family, supporting and celebrating your life.

Don't forget to first count your blessings.

Helping those in need allows you to learn about yourself.

February 20th
Savor this mile of your journey.

Celebrate friends who come in town.

Enjoy your surroundings.

February 21st
Finding myself praying last rather first, I need to strengthen my relationship.

Belief in oneself, others focused, in relationship with God, a dreamer, a hard worker, commitment to family and friends, life long learner... these are goals, which are aspirational.

Take time not only to reflect at the end of the day, but also in the morning to preview the possibilities that await.

February 22nd
When the time is right, be willing to try.

Hope without action is a pipe dream.

Your life is created from your choices.

February 23rd
Focus on what you want to get done.

Opportunities abound.

Working smarter still involves very hard work.

February 24th
Necessity might have always been the mother of invention, but that doesn't make the invention any less worthy of appreciation.

Lasting success is hard, but when you look around, there still is lots of it.

Gratitation... a mixture of gratitude, reflection, frustration, and action.

February 25th
Celebrate your efforts.

Nobody has all the answers and if they claim they do, be assured that they don't.

Life is full of changing seasons and there's always another one just around the corner.

February 26th
Maximize the outcome of what's in your control.

Check out a new innovation, adopt the aspects that make sense and then go back about your business.

When you decide to hold out in order to finally prove a point, often the anticipation exceeds the actual end result.

February 27th
It's a collective effort to maintain habits.

Before complaining, first be grateful.

Being true to yourself is the best way to be relevant.

February 28th
Be supportive in the ways other need to be supported, not on your terms.

While executing your plan, be mindful of changes that need to be made along the way.

Listening to others, allows yourself to be heard.

February 29th
An extra day doesn't just come around once every five years, but rather with each and every morning.

January

January 1st
Look ahead and plan what the future holds, while recognizing that only so much of that plan is under your control.

Develop a routine, which allows resolutions to become habits.

In order to actually be better, you have to do better.

January 2nd
Keep only what you need.

Set time aside to quietly look ahead and give thanks.

Allow your actions to serve as your introduction.

Settle in for the long haul.

Be patient as things unfold.

Put the advice you've received to use.

January 7th
Offering a sincere supportive comment is needed and appreciated more than just a flippant remark.

Something better might be on the horizon, but find ways to thrive where you currently are.

Improve your surroundings.

January 8th
You're old enough to realize that you're cheering for someone else's business, but root for your home team like you did when you were young.

The opportunity is to follow your own best advice when taking action.

Even when you don't succeed, tomorrow is a new day.

January 9th
Prioritize the things you are able to focus on.

Who smiles when they see you?

Help others to understand.

January 10th
Rituals are best celebrated with family and a community of support.

Everyone takes their path in life.

Experience provides perspective.

January 11th
Enjoy the moments, sometimes they are expected and sometimes they happen out of the blue.

When reaching out to old friends, it's possible that they might have moved on, but that doesn't change the memorable experiences that happened.

Encourage opportunities.

January 12th
Focus on what (who) truly matters.

Simply being open to an idea, does not mean it will immediately happen.

Let's say it doesn't all work out... tomorrow still offers a new day.

January 13th
Tragedies often defy explanation, but still offer opportunities to experience your faith.

Somethings don't make sense and that's alright.

Allow courage to replace self-doubt.

January 14th
Delay your gratification.

Anyone can spread doom and gloom, but there's already too much of that, so go in a different direction.

Benefit from your present situation.

January 15th
Act now, the opportunity won't necessarily present itself in the future.

Find a balance in life.

Crunch the numbers to learn more.

January 16th
Don't take your health for granted, the energy and opportunity that it presents won't always be available.

Identify ways to embrace new technology that make sense for you.

Understand what's important to you and focus on it.

January 17th
Be available when people unexpectedly reach out to you.

Life demands being able to adjust.

Past success and a strong plan going forward, still needs to be executed.

January 18th
A good night of sleep tonight will help make your tomorrow.

Enjoy watching history unfold.

The future is where the excitement is.

January 19th
A decision that you don't agree with, doesn't make it inherently wrong or poorly thought out.

Push yourself by learning how to fail.

Proactively address potential problems.

January 20th
When you're bored, intentionally make decisions that are inherently productive.

It's not up to others, expand your available options.

Acknowledge how life unfolds.

January 21st
Be the one in a conversation to listen the most, while talking the least.

Be comfortable enough with yourself and your beliefs to allow differing views and doubts from others.

Endeavor to enrich your humanity, in all aspects of life.

When kids are around, be sure to speak well of their parents.

Difficulties get easier with experience.

Be a living reality of what you admire.

"If you work really hard and you're kind, amazing things will happen." Well said Conan.

As long as it's not cruel, irony can be one of life's pleasant surprises.

Allow time for a new initiative to take root.

Diffuse stress in your life.

Smell that, that's the taste of victory.

Remember what it felt like.

Accomplish what needs to be done.

If you continue to make the same choices, you'll continue to live the same life.

Adversity offers insights into people.

January 26th
You don't need to have all the answers. In fact, nobody including yourself should expect you to.

Encourage others in their good works.

Don't just plan and wait for the next stage of life, live it now.

January 27th
